Anete Ashton is the Publisher for the proceedings programme at IOP Publishing. With an MA in linguistics and over five years' experience in proceedings publication she has developed and grown the IOP Conference Series and has commissioned some of the most prestigious conferences in physics and related subject areas.
Sarah Toms looks after the day-to-day operations of IOP Conference Series, including commissioning content and liaising with conference organizers/editors. After graduating from UCL with a degree in palaeontology, Sarah worked as a writer and editor on a pharmaceutical magazine before joining IOP Publishing in 2010.
Anastasia Ireland is a Senior Marketing Executive for IOP Conference Series. She is responsible for managing the marketing activities for Journal of Physics Conference Series, Materials Science and Engineering and Earth and Environmental Science. Anastasia joined IOP in 2007. She has a master’s degree in marketing and strategy from The University of Warwick and a diploma in digital marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Max joined IOP Publishing in October 2013, having graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in psychology in the same year. Along with Sam he manages the production of the IOP Conference Series, working with suppliers and making content available on IOPscience and in print.
Sam Blomfield Production Assistant
Sam joined IOP Publishing in November 2013 and graduated from the University of Aberystwyth in 2011 with a degree in film studies. Coming from a background in content management and working alongside fellow production assistant Max, Sam manages the production of the IOP Conference Series volumes from acceptance to publication, in print and online.
