Anete Ashton is the Publisher for the proceedings programme at IOP Publishing. With an MA in linguistics and over five years' experience in proceedings publication she has developed and grown the IOP Conference Series and has commissioned some of the most prestigious conferences in physics and related subject areas.
Sarah Toms looks after the day-to-day operations of IOP Conference Series, including commissioning content and liaising with conference organizers/editors. After graduating from UCL with a degree in palaeontology, Sarah worked as a writer and editor on a pharmaceutical magazine before joining IOP Publishing in 2010.
Anastasia Ireland is a Senior Marketing Executive for IOP Conference Series. She is responsible for managing the marketing activities for Journal of Physics Conference Series, Materials Science and Engineering and Earth and Environmental Science. Anastasia joined IOP in 2007. She has a master’s degree in marketing and strategy from The University of Warwick and a diploma in digital marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
George joined IOP Publishing in November 2014. George graduated from the University of Reading in 2010 with a degree in environmental science, having previously worked in an environmental consultancy prior to joining the company. He works with Sam in managing the online and print production of proceedings for all three IOP Conference Series journals.
Sam Blomfield Technical Production Editor
Sam joined IOP Publishing in November 2013 and graduated from the University of Aberystwyth in 2011 with a degree in film studies. Coming from a background in content management and working alongside fellow Technical Production Editor George, Sam manages the production of the IOP Conference Series volumes from acceptance to publication, in print and online.
