About IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (MSE)

Based on Journal of Physics: Conference Series, our hugely successful physics title, MSE offers an outstanding service to organizers of conferences in materials science and related fields. After building up a strong body of work in materials science disciplines we decided that the community would benefit from a dedicated proceedings title, which would enable related content to reach the relevant target audience. The first MSE volume was published in 2009, and the journal has since published some high-calibre proceedings in areas including nanotechnology, polymer science, manufacturing and application, and thin films.
